Dr. Kelamis is a Tulsa, Oklahoma native who grew up working in his family’s restaurant, where he had early attention to customer service, communication, the customer experience, teamwork, and business management. Dr. Kelamis had the opportunity to attend Kansas University for his undergraduate degree and the College of Medicine at the University of Oklahoma. He completed a plastic and reconstructive integrated residency in the dual Johns Hopkins and University of Maryland Shock Trauma program in Baltimore. This unique residency experience gave Dr. Kelamis the ability to train at all the major teaching hospitals in the Baltimore area: Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center, the Johns Hopkins Hospital, R. Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center, University of Maryland Medical Center, as well as at the Curtis National Hand Center at MedStar Union Memorial Hospital and at the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland. He authored a number of professional research papers, several of which related to performing microsurgery, facial reconstruction, and facial transplants during a research year.
Following 7 years of residency training and 5 years of experience in both private practice and a large health system, Dr. Kelamis opened Kelamis Plastic Surgery in February 2021. Kelamis Plastic Surgery offers contemporary cosmetic and aesthetic services to Northwest Arkansas and beyond. His cosmetic expertise lies in facelifts, blepharoplasties/eyelift, breast augmentation, liposuction, Brazilian butt lifts/fat grafting, abdominoplasty, and more.
Reconstructive surgical procedures such as Mohs reconstruction, scar revisions and skin grafts are among Dr. Kelamis’ most frequent.
